Great food would eat there again

The food is decent. However, every time we order take out the place does not give us the whole order. When we called back to tell them about the mess up, the lady who answered opted to talk to a fellow employee and hung up on us. Food is good but service sucks.

My husband and I tried them for the first time yesterday and we were very impressed! Their customer service is exceptional and their food is just as good! We will be returning!

I have to say the amount of food you get is plentiful for the amount you pay. The quality is not as good as I would hope for. The "spicy" section on the menu is not spicy what so ever even when you ask for extra spice. The food is still good and the rice was wonderful. I just wish the spicy food was spicy or even a hint of it. I would come back to challenge the chef to see what he could do about the spice he could make.

Been coming here since 1985....Walnut Shrimp and Green Bean Chicken are family favs! Cheese puffs are always light and crispRicky and the staff always make sure you are well fed and happy when you leave.

Not a bad place, but it's a typical Chinese restaurant. Larger than I thought, and it actually has a dance floor and karaoke. The food is good and I would eat there again, but I don't think I would go out of my way to go there.

This is my favorite and most efficient Chinese food spot ever <3 we were literally in and out for a sit down lunch in 25 minutes! That's faster than some places even bring you tea!

Good food, large quantities, friendly staff, parking is very good. The sweet foods are not as sweet as usual Chinese food is here in the States. The food had a more earthy flavor, good use of other herbs and spices. The only disappoint of the night was the walnut shrimp. The flavor was great, plenty of very crunchy texture shrimp, but sauce was a little skimpy. Price was very reasonable.

Picked up war wonton soup for a sick friend perfect!

Service was great. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Won Ton soup was really good. Rice was my next favorite... The rest was okay. I had extremely high expectations based off word of mouth.

Wah Shine has been a family favorite since I was a toddler. My parents had their wedding reception here in 1997. Wah Shine is comfort food and never disappoints. The prices are fair and the dishes are delicious. The staff is always friendly.

The BEST Chinese food around.

This is one of those places that you second guess going into, but life's all about giving chances. I suggest giving this place a try. It is really good, it's clean and the staff are very kind. The prices are great for the huge portions that I received. It's very hidden but I reccomend seeking this little gem.

I don’t normally go online to give reviews unless I’m absolutely blown away or extremely let down. Unfortunately in this situation, it’s the latter. We have been looking for a decent Chinese food place in Vacaville for a while and given the reviews for Wah Shine, we decided to try it out. We ordered chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork, and a side of egg rolls. Everything was extremely bland and devoid of seasoning. The sweet and sour pork was overcooked and large pieces of breading by itself were included with the dish. That was really the only dish with any flavor but only because it was drowned in sweet and sour sauce (and not a good one). The service was fine and the order was made quickly. But if you’re looking for actual Chinese food - or just food with any flavor whatsoever - I would look elsewhere.

This place makes me feel right at home. Food is great. People there is like family.

Visited Wah Shine for Lunch with several friends. We were seated quickly. Note that they have seating/tables to accommodate individuals as well as large groups.We ordered off the Lunch menu, which provided a variety of choices. Each entree comes with a Soup, Salad, choice of Steamed or Fried rice, and/or any combination of a puff/egg roll. The food was good, and wasn't over seasoned. We all got some kind of meat in our entree ... but the meat was a little tough, and/or chewy.The staff was pleasant, courteous, and attentive throughout our visit.Nice place, staff was good as noted, service was brisk, pricing for dishes were average, and food was good but not great. I would recommend for Lunch as the food was good, you can get in and out quickly, and they have a decent selection of dishes. I rated the business 4 stars because everyone's meat in the entree's was a little tough.

I had eaten here several times. It is a very popular Chinese restaurant in Vacaville and do some delivery. This was the first time since I had been living in the Mid-West. I had the vegetable chow mien which is a thicker noodle than we have in Minnesota. The food was not bad and the amount of vegetables especially broccoli was great. The vegetables were firm. The soup and the other food that we had were just as good.

Ordered takeout. Honey Walnut Shrimp and Shrimp fried Rice. The shrimp was OLD and no sauce. Shrimp stuck together. Most of the shrimp bare. Just plain nasty taste. The rice was old and slimy. Called the restaurant and the guy cared less. He said ok that I said I will not come back. Threw all of it in the trash and out over $23. Will NEVER go back. GROSS!

Cockroaches. This was my favorite Chinese restaurant but after getting takeout and eating most of what was in my bowl there was a cooked and sauced cockroach on the bottom. Well, time to look for a new favorite Chinese restaurant

Best Chinese food in Vacaville and they deliver! Great service

Love coming here more than anything! This is by far my favorite place to eat in general. The staff are the most attentive people and care so much about customer service it blows me away! I eat here once a week on average. The servers know me and my friends order and know where we like to sit. Often can get in and out with lunch in under 30 minutes if they aren’t too crazy packed. Love coming here and look forward to more years of eating here!

My go to place. Smiling, friendly and courteous waiters/waitresses deliver your tasty meals quickly. Their lunch specials are very reasonably priced.

The service was very fast and friendly. The price is ok especially for the lunch special. The food was average and kind of bland. Nothing to rant or rave about.
